Activating Starlink without an existing account takes only 10–15 minutes! This step-by-step guide will help you quickly set up your Starlink kit and connect to high-speed satellite internet. Follow the instructions below to activate your account through the official website.
Step 1: Download the Starlink App
For convenient management of your Starlink, download the official Starlink app from the App Store or Google Play. The app allows you to:
- Change the Wi-Fi network name.
- Set a new Wi-Fi password.
- Check connection speed and antenna settings.
Additionally, you can download the Star Debug app for advanced diagnostics (available on the App Store and Google Play).
Step 2: Visit the Activation Website
Go to the activation page via the link: starlink.com/activate. You can use a phone, tablet, or computer—ensure you have internet access.
Locate the serial number of your Starlink kit (found on the box, e.g., KIT1234ABCD5678). Enter it in the designated field on the website and click NEW ACCOUNT.
Step 3: Enter Your Address
Provide the exact address where you plan to use Starlink. For example:

Start typing the street name, and the system will suggest options. Select the correct address from the list. Important: A correctly entered address ensures proper Starlink functionality in your region.
Step 4: Choose the Service Type
After address verification, the system will display available connection options. Select ROAM (may be labeled as “REGIONAL ROAM,” “MOBILE ROAM,” or “TRAVEL”). This option allows you to use Starlink in any country, including Ukraine.
Step 5: Fill in Account Address
Re-enter the same address you provided earlier. For example:

Click the UPDATE ACCOUNT ADDRESS button to save the information.
Step 6: Enter Contact Information
Fill in the following fields:
- First and Last Name: Enter in Latin script, as shown in your international passport.
- Phone: Provide your phone number.
- Email: Use an email address you have access to.
Step 7: Enter Payment Details
Provide your bank card details to pay for the Starlink subscription:
- Card Number: 16-digit number.
- Expiration Date: Month and year of expiry.
- CVV Code: 3-digit code on the back of the card.
Step 8: Confirm Payment with Your Bank
After clicking the Pay button, your bank will send a payment confirmation request. This may be:
